Vucic expressed his condolences over the attack in Barcelona
Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic sent a letter of condolence to Spanish King Felipe VI on the occasion of the terrorist attack in Barcelona.
- We were very shocked by the news of a tragic event in Barcelona, in which the driver of the van drove over innocent people on the Las Ramblas promenade. The Republic of Serbia condemns this terrorist act, which reminds us once again of the necessity of joining efforts to deal with this scourge, which endangers the life and safety of all citizens - said Vucic.
- On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia and me, I send you our deepest condolences to you and to the families of those who lost their loved ones, and quick and successful recovery to the injured - reads the letter of President Vucic.
According to the latest information from the Catalan Interior Ministry, 13 people were killed and 50 injured in the attack in Barcelona.
