Investigation about the liquidation of drug-boss the entire Balkan is talking about: Vendetta scheduled in December 2015?

The police are still investigating who killed former pimp and one of the most famous bosses of Albanian mafia with the shots directly to the head, Dilaver Bojku - Leku (58), but, according to the latest findings, it is safe to say that it is a professional killer.

Bojku was murdered yesterday around 17 h in front of the visitors of the tavern on the beach Aqua Blue, which he held under concession, in Struga, at the south of Macedonia. Eyewitnesses say that masked man approached him from behind and directly shot him in the head with a gun. The unknown man then sat on the motorbike and escaped in an unknown direction.

While the police are silent, the media speculate about who could be his killer, as well as the motives of the crime. Bojku himself feared for his life, and he didn't leave his house without a bullet proof vest. That was probably known to the killer, and that is why he directly shot him in the head. 

Those familiar with the situation in the underground said that they are convinced it is a vendetta, and that the murderer is the father of the murdered young man Sitem Istrefij (23), reports mkd.mk.

The members of Istrefi family have threatened Bojku with a vendetta for a long time.

The clash between the family members occurred two years ago about concessions of beaches at the coast of Strug lake.

The escalation of conflicts happened on 13. December 2015 in the suburb Ezerski Lojza in front of Strug, when Sitem Istrefi was killed in an armed gun fight, and his brother Prentim Istrefi was heavily wounded.

Brother and son of Dilaver Bojku participated in the clash. His brother, Baskim Bojku (45) was seriously wounded, and he is now in prison, while the son of Dilaver Bojku, Ermin is on the run.

At the beginning of 2000, Bojku owned few night clubs in the village Velesta and Struga, which functioned as brothels. 

He was arrested in 2003 for human trafficking and was sentenced to 6 months in prison, but he managed to escape in Jun. He was arrested in Ulcinj 2 weeks later and was returned to Macedonia where he was sentenced for3.8 years for prostitution.

After serving his time he was released in 2007, and he was arrested 2 years later for disturbance of public order and peace. Not long after that, he was arrested with his son Ermin for the attack on the police officer with a knife. 

The mayor of Struga, Zijadin Sela, in 2013 reported Bokjku to the police because he threatened him with death because local government demolished his illegally erected building near the beach in Struga.

Last year, in February, Bojku came to the police complaining that someone shot at his house.
