The saddest goodbye from little Luka, perhaps future volleyball star, Vojvodina player, son of Marcos Milinkovic

The death of the son of the famous Argentinean volleyball player, Marcos Milinkovic, has deeply shocked everybody in the Volleyball Association of Serbia.

Goodbye appeared on the official website of VAS for Luka, a boy who was a remarkable swimmer, and he was a member of the Volleyball club Vojvodina from last year.

His sports steps were described in detail, from tennis to swimming and then to volleyball.

"Luka Milinkovic, who was supposed to wear a jersey of a young team of Vojvodina in the new season 2017/2018, tragically died on Saturday, 29th July in Brac, by drowning in the sea on his first day of the vacation.

Luka Milinkovic was born on March 1, 2004, in Florianópolis, Brazil. The son of Jelena from Novi Sad and legendary Argentinean volleyball player Marcos Milinkovic. He lived in the provincial capital. His genes quickly directed him towards sports, he first trained tennis, and he definitely followed his father's footsteps last year, so he joined the Volleyball club NS seme on 6th August last year. It was his first registration.

Since being extremely young, and needing adequate volleyball school, he started training in the Volleyball club Vosa, which has cooperation with Vojvodina NS. He played in City pioneer league with Vosa.

He was a participant of Volleyball camp in Becej this summer, where he showed his talent. He was supposed to play for pioneer selection of Vojvodina NS seme in the new season."
