There is currently an ongoing evacuation at the cape Veslo in Tivat municipality, reports TV CG.
Reporter of that television said that firefighters rescued homes and people, and until 3 AM, when the fire spread, over 100 people were evacuated, while around 20 people, mostly locals, don't want to abandon their homes.
People were evacuated with ferries and boats to Ros.
The Maritime Safety Administration from Bar, the Naval Unit of Montenegro, as well as the private company Boka Pilot, joined the rescue operation said the director of the agency, Safet Kocan, who is also participating in the evacuation, reports Radio Tivat.
11 rescue operatives participate in the action with the SAR-1 Maritime Safety Authority boat and the rubber boat and with the vessels of Police and "Boka Pilot" private company.
There was fire last night close to Niagara Falls in Podgorica.
Warehouse DOO Sonita burned late last night, about one thousand square meters.
Great material damage was caused, which is estimated to around 2 million euros.
33 fires were registered in the area of Podgorica till 19h, and some of them are still active.
Firefighters and members of the Protection and Rescue Service managed to defend all facilities, despite the strong north wind.
The fire was put under control in the fire on Golo Hill above Sutomore.
That was said by the head of the Protection Service Bar, Velizar Cadenovic to the Montenegro TV.
"Our people are on the field, the fire is under control. There is no danger, people will still be out", said Cadenovic for TVCG.
