Maniac in Tuzla stalked a girl for days: Parents ambushed him because police couldn't catch him

Man, who has been intercepting 16 year old girl on few occasions in Simin Han neighborhood in Tuzla, was arrested yesterday after the family of the minor had "ambushed" him.

Father of the girl H.H. confirmed this for Faktor. Namely, as the outraged father had previously told, an unknown man had intercepted his 16-year-old daughter several times with a car, shouting at her and cursing, trying to get her to come into his vehicle. The family reported that to the police every time, and the maniac was never caught, while the entire family lived in fear, reports Faktor.ba.

According to father's words, due to the high pressure, stress and trauma the girl has experienced in recent weeks, the family has decided to somehow "bait" the maniac, in order to get complete information about him or  his vehicle. Since the incidents happened most often in the afternoon, they concluded that the "interceptor" most likely works somewhere nearby or returns home from work.

So the girl walked along the main road Tuzla-Kalesija on Tuesday afternoon with her mother, from her home to the brother who is about a kilometer away.

- On their way home they walked along the sidewalk along the main road and looked around, trying to see him and to call the police. After some 250 meters of walking, my daughter screamed, she started shouting, "Mom, there he is!" Her mouth turned blue and she began faint. Wife immediately realized what was going on, and he briefly stopped across the road of them, saw that the daughter is not alone and he continued driving - said the bitter father for Faktor.

According to his words, wife immediately ran after the man to see the car better, and then called him and the police on the phone. Father, as he said, immediately ran out of the house and headed towards the road, but he was late and the man already drove off.

- The police came immediately. Lately, as far as I know, they did a lot of work on the case, the searched for him and they brought photos to the daughter so she could recognize him, bit the man wasn't among them. I went to the police in the morning and commander Istok Slavinovic gave new proposals on what to do. So far the problem was that we didn't know the precise model of the car or the color. Now the wife saw the car as well, and the face of the driver, so it was easier to recognize him - said the father.

He added that the family decided to do the same thing again tomorrow, so the wife and daughter went to walk the same road, and him and the son got into car and drove close to them.

- At the exit of the road Tuzla - Kalesija we saw suspicious car. Last number on the plates didn't match the ones daughter remembered, while the others matched and there was a bald driver in it with another person. We followers that car and i managed to take one or two pictures. I went to the police immediately, where i gave the photos and a statement, and police officers reacted right away - said the father.

According to him, the man who is suspected to have been intercepting his daughter was arrested yesterday. He, allegedly, admitted following the girl and inviting her into his vehicle.

- I am only fearing that they will let him go and say that this is nothing. My child is so afraid now that she is jumping on every sound of a car - he said.

They couldn't confirm the information about the arrest in Tuzla county police department, but they didn't deny it, so they said that they are working on the case and that they will have information for the public tomorrow, writes Faktor.
