He stabbed his father 22 times, and they sentenced him to 19 years in prison: "He forced me to oral sex!"

Aleksandar Marinkovic (21), from the village of Glogovica near Aleksinac, was sentenced to 19 years in prison, because he brutally murdered his father in their family home on 10 January 2016.

Marinkovic was charged with serious murder because judicial medical experts found that he stabbed his victim 22 times with a knife. 

During the trial, it was found that the accused committed murder in a state of reduced accountability, which was the reason why the court sentenced him to 19 years of imprisonment instead of a maximum sentence of 20 years.

However, judicial medical expertise showed that there was no state of significantly reduced accountability that would have relieved him of criminal responsibility.

Marinkovic defended himself on the court that he reached for the knife because his father forced him into giving him oral sex. 

However, the court did not find any evidence to substantiate his allegations.

By the decision of the High Court, custody was extended for Marinkovic until the verdict was finalized.

Marinkovic had no problems with the law so far, but as we found out, he would easily burst with anger and his grandfather on his mother's side, where he lived until one month ago, kicked him out of the house. He represented himself as "Kobac" on his Facebook profile and he boasted of kick boxing.

He enjoyed attention and he constantly posted his photos, delighted with the comments that he is the most handsome. On one photo, Marinkovic is posing with a gun, and his friends called him "mafia".

When he returned to his father, he faced extreme poverty, Srdjan didn't have money to buy cigarettes, so he often sent his son to his brother Sasa for some tobacco.
