Little ones in Prokuplje are more than hardworking and savvy, they organized and they cleaned the playground by themselves.

- We will not allow grown ups and elderly to mess up our playground because it is our favorite place.

- That is why we decided to clean it and to remove every cigarette, dirt, or piece of rubbish we found - said the children who cleaned recently placed playground in front of the church of St Prokopije.

The idea was theirs, and they were gathered. Zorica Radicevic, president of the Local Community "Mika" participated with them in the action. 

- Idea came from the children and i think it is really good one. This way they are more responsible towards the public surface, and they show to the grown ups how much this area means to them - said Radicevic.

Around 20 little ones participated in cleaning, even a lot of older children, even if the playground was primarily intended for the youngest.

- I love this place and this is the only area where we can play, hang out, all of us who are in this part of the city. That is why we came here today and its not hard for us to gather all of the rubbish we see, which was left by the older people - said Una Tomic living in the building in Carina.

Children have shown the need for smaller fountain in this area so the water could be at the reach of their hand, which is necessary during summer.
