Jihadist had 5.000 euros with him and a ticket to Belgrade, and the officials suspected that he intended to organize terrorist action in the capital, writes Informer.

Enes Mesic was held in custody and handed to the Bosnian Agency for investigation and Protection (SIPA).

Mesic is one of the most radical Islamist in the region, last year, he was sentenced to three years in prison for participating in actions of ISIS in Syrian battlefield.

As reported by Sarajevo media, Mesic used to live in the closed Islamic community at Kalesija and is considered to be the most radical member of the movement. He was arrested in "Damask" operation in 2014 for suspicion of having committed the crime of terrorism and he was was sentenced to three years in prison on 31 October 2016.

The fact that he tried to pare his wife Amel B. (22) in 2013, and caused her serious injuries to genitalia tells enough what kind of man he is.

Police Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said for Informer that our police participated in operations to detain dangerous jihadists.

- We work closely with colleagues from the SIPA on data exchange, and we are working with them on discovering Mesic plans. We are very careful when it comes to people connected with terrorism or with a small number of people who are on our territory that went to the ISIS battlefield. The only way to combat this sort of thing is the exchange of data and constant vigilance - Stefanovic said.
