The European Union expects Serbia to give up Kosovo: Germany's official reveals second great goal of Brussels
The European Union's enlargement policy is pushed to the back and is trying to push Russia's influence in the Balkans, and Serbia is expected to withdraw from Kosovo, German official Levice Sevim Dagdelen said to Deutsche Welle . The aim is to force Serbia to give up Kosovo and therefore the accession negotiations are used. The EU violates its own criteria. Such performance of the EU institutions is not grounded on anything because there are still member states that do not recognize the declaration of independence of Kosovo, she said.
In this connection, Dagdalen considers that it problematic that the EU doesn't unequivocally condemn the Greater Albania plans.
As she sad, the heads have been turned for years before the growing Islamic influence on Kosovo through projects of Saudi patrons.
It is difficult, according to her, to escape the impression that all means are used to suppress Russian influence in the Balkans, to plunge Serbia into new conflicts, and to put more obstacles before Russian projects, as we can see with the South pipeline.
- Let me say clearly: the EU is trying to force Serbia to give up Kosovo and to participate in the Cold War against Russia. Even then it would be completely uncertain whether Serbia would actually join the EU - says German politician.
Speaking about the idea of the EU in more speeds, Dagdalen says that it already exists and that this trend will intensify and paradoxically jeopardize the unity of the EU.
- It does not mean better access perspective for Serbia. There is a great danger under the existing conditions that in the case of accession, there will be additional social tensions. In this light, the euphoria about EU is completely inappropriate - she says.
With Greece as an example, it can be seen how EU institutions and European commission brutally contribute to the complete ruination of a country and shift the entire population into misery and poverty.
Dagdalen believes that the EU is in such a state that if it wished to join itself now, it would have great problems fulfilling the criteria, and the largest deficits on the level of EU are in the rule of law and democracy.
On one side, the change of social politics is nor perceived in EU, on the other side in the questions of enlargements and neighboring politics of EU it is oriented on strengthening the front towards Russia, and so creates new conflicts in Europe, instead of opening perspectives for peaceful solutions.
- If the only goal is followed on Balkans for the states to force joining sanctions of EU against Russia, then the states are pushed into new divisions - she said and adds that it has nothing to do with social and democratic perspectives.
Besides that, as she emphasizes, expansion policy, which primarily follows the interests of large companies from Germany and France, has no future.
