Yesterday's threat of ISIS upset the citizens of Serbia: Do not worry, the situation is under control, says Defense Minister Zoran Djordjevic

The situation is under control and people can be calm and confident, said Defense Minister Zoran Djordjevic regarding the threats that the so-called Islamic State sent to the Balkan people.

Djordjevic said that Serbia has the strength and ability to defend itself against all challenges.

- Citizens can be calm and confident. The Ministry of Defense in cooperation with all security services constantly monitors the situation. The Ministry of Defense is ready to respond to the challenges and take all necessary measures to, as until now, maintain peace and security of the citizens - said Djordjevic.

Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said that security agencies thoroughly monitor the situation and cooperate with the police of other countries.

Sarajevo portal Klix.ba passed on Thursday alleged threat of Islamic State to Serbs and Croats, referring to the magazine "Rumi", because of "the killing of Muslims in Bosnia and Kosovo".
