Serbs drink alcohol like Russians: We are recorders in the Balkans, we consume more than 12.5 liters annually
The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are drinking the least alcohol, and citizens of Serbia are the record holders, who annually drink 12.5 liters of alcohol. Citizens of Russia drink that much alcohol annually, according to the research of the World Health Organization.
The residents of the countries of the Eastern and Central Europe, as well as the citizens of Russia are drinking the most on average annually.
Immediately after the citizens of Serbia, Croats are drinking the most, up from 10 to 12.4 liters of alcoholic drinks.
The report indicates that the inhabitants of Turkey, on average, consume alcoholic beverages the least. Turkey's average citizen older than 15 drinks 2.5 liters of alcohol annually on average.
The average US citizen annually drink from 7.5 to 9.9 liters of alcohol, in China the average is at 5 to 7.4 liters, in India 2.5 and Canadians drink around 10 to 12.4 liters per year.
