American who has been stalking professor Ivancica arrested: She stabbed police officer in the neck, she raged in the car and she cut herself! (VIDEO)

American Vanessa Raney (41), who stalked and harassed professor of the Faculty of Philology, stabbed a police office in the neck, and she cut her own arm, after arrest attempt based on the warrant issued after her, writes Dnevnik.

Two police officers around 18 hours went to intervene in Bilje. They checked her ID near the gas station, kilometer and a half away from the place of the incident, and they put her in the vehicle. And as it seems, they did not search her nor have they cuffed her. Raney was raging in the car during the ride, she cut her arm, and then she jumped the officer, who was in co driver's seat and stabbed him in the neck.

Blessing in disguise is that everything happened in front of the Health center where the injured officer ran out of the car and asked for help. During that time, his colleague tried to restrain Raney who was resisting and who threw around the ground, and prevented the officer from cuffing her.

The injured policeman was rushed to University Hospital Osijek, according to preliminary information he is not life threatening danger. Raney was taken into custody.

SHE WAS STALKING THE PROFESSOR 

As Telegraf.rs already wrote, it is the same american that stalked and harassed the professor of  Faculty of philology, Ivancica Bankovic-Mandic. 

Let us recall, Vanessa enlisted into studies of Language practice II under the guidance of the mentioned professor and she becomes her obsession. In the beginning, she kept asking her to correct her assignments after what she charged her of not committing enough attention to her. When that was enough, Vanessa started harassing her with vulgar messages and porn images she even sent to her children.

The entire case was reported to the police. Municipal Court in Zagreb issued an arrest warrant for her, police have failed to trace her for more than seven months, and it was later decided that Vanessa is a threat to national security. They took away her passport, she had a ban on entry and stay in Croatia for three years, but despite that she was walking free and she harassed teacher for years, and another American professor.

Deranged American wrote a status on Facebook where she admits that she has a knife after the reports about her case:

American embassy in Croatia said that Vanessa Raney is a "very problematic person whose threats should be taken seriously, and every contact with her should be avoided" .
