Terrible fire in Zagreb was planted: A large warehouse burned, drama lasted all night, and one detail gave away everything! (VIDEO)

The Office for Emergency Situations of the City of Zagreb has reported last night that the Institute for Public Health "Dr. Andrija Stampar" conducted more measurements of air quality near the fire and the wider area, and they did not record the presence of harmful gasses.

They add that 135 firefighters with 11 vehicles got to the scene, including 25 vehicles of DVDs. 

Institute for Public Health "Dr. Andrija Stampar" will continue with taking measurements if air quality and the public will be informed with the results.

CIOS: Fire could be arson

There were no injuries in the fire. Last night, after 20:00, a fire swept through an open warehouse CE-ZA-R's Recycling Center, member of C.I.O.S. group in Zagreb suburb Jankomir, media reported last night from CIOS.

Chief of the Office of Emergency Management City of Zagreb Pavle Kalinic, who was at the scene, said that it is estimated that the fire will be extinguished in 15 to 20 hours. 

- The cause is still unknown, but the member of the security of recycling center said that he noticed a paraglider 10 minutes before the fire broke out, at the exact place where he noticed him. According to the statement of the guards, the fire broke out at the top of the pile of waste. If the fire broke out at the more reachable place, the the security service of the center for Recycling would start the extinguishing, but the smoke was notice on the unreachable hill, where its not usual for a fire to start, caused by self-ignition of waste - announced from CIOS.

Waste furniture was burning and some other wooden waste, as well part of the fence of the open warehouse, and all facilities and administrative buildings are safe

The fire was quickly brought under control

- The fire is under control. The flames are stopped, and the firefighters are currently checking the site and they are watering the burned material - it was announced.

There was a fire within C.I.O.S. company, a company that collects and processes industrial waste, on Monday around 20:30 hours.

As written by index.hr, the smoke is still seen over C.I.O.S, and the stench can be felt above the suburbs Stenjevec, Malesnica and Spansko.
