At the border crossing Bosanski Brod on Sunday, on March 26, interesting object was imported in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the air glider weighing 250 kilos.

A plane was imported on a trailer and it attracted the attention of other passengers on this border crossing.

As Klic.ba finds out, the plane was imported natural person, someone from the citizens for their own needs. These types of planes are usually used to train pilots, sports flying, transport or scientific research.

Air gliders are without motor and with fixed wings. It maintains itself in air with aerodynamic lift of wings, as airplanes, so they are similar in shape with them. 

Since they do not have their own drive, they must be lifted by external force or brought to an altitude before the start of a flight.

In calm atmosphere, these gliders are constantly losing altitude, they are diving, gliding or fly using their own potential energy. If the air has turbulence or ups flow greater than the speed of deterioration, glider can gain altitude.
