Andrej Ljepic (7) from Novi Sad, is a champion of Vojvodina in chess, and so far he has won 13 medals in this ancient game.
Little champion, who already got to the list of the three best chess players in the world among his peers, said that he has been training for year and a half.
- I love when i am working with my trainer, he is teaching me very well and i am very happy! - said the boy and he is no longer playing with his father of grandfather, for simple reason - they are just not good enough.
Andrej wants to become the state champion and to reach the title of the world champion.
His coach, grand master Goran Vuksanovic is helping him, who said that he has never seen such a talented child, with so much potential.
- It is hard to explain how he understands some things. You simply don't have to teach him, he already sees it and this is all just upgrading, giving directions. Normally, he doesn't know everything, but he has a gift - he said for Balkan Chess.
Little chess player said that he will increase the training so he can achieve his goals, and that he plans on playing this game for a long time.
