THEY TOLD ME "KID, YOU HAVE CANCER": Today i have a little daughter and 100 kilos of muscles. This is a STORY of my FIGHT!

It all began one day when i came home from training. He went to the bathroom and he was shocked. He noticed that blood was coming out of him. He panicked and together with his family went to the hospital. That is when Aleksandar began fighting for his life.

- We are going into a car, heading to highway over Bubanj Potok, and in that moment the bleeding isn't stopping and i have to get out more blood. We are stopping in front of the butcher where i get out of the car with bloody pants, white face, can't walk and my father who is barely carrying me, because i was pretty big and heavy - said Aleksandar for Telegraf.rs two years ago.

The worker at the butcher said that she doesn't know if she can let me go to the bathroom. At that moment the owner appears and said: "Hey, idiots, move away, that's our future champion!"

- We finally arrived to the emergency room, i am still bleeding heavily, and i only got an IV. Doctors said that its probably nothing serious and that some blood vessel broke. Parents were relieved a bit - continues Aleksandar.

They transferred him from the Emergency room to the hospital with an ambulance. He was lying for 15 minutes there in the vehicle and no one was paying attention to him.

- People, can you check up on me and help me - asked the young man the doctors on duty. Finally, the doctors examined him and sent him home tomorrow.

The next day he was feeling ill again and doctors scheduled a colonoscopy.

- They are transferring me to the department and i am going to the famous colonoscopy, and i will know everything after that. I am entering the room for colonoscopy exam, when it started my body could not tolerate it without anesthesia, i managed to get some 80 centimeters of the colon examined. I could not endure it any more, trust me. The lovely doctor stops the exam and said that i am not tolerating the exam, and writes that the examination should be done in full anesthesia - said the young man.

The next exam was scheduled for tomorrow morning. He could not come due to financial reasons. He managed to get some money and to go the day after that, but the doctors said he was too late. He had to schedule another exam, but it was again for three months.

He refused to wait for that long, and he did not have 300 euros for private polyclinic. He was getting worse from day to day. His grandpa who had gangrene on his leg drove him to hospital once. The doctors only took him blood and urine sample and returned him home again. And so for the forth, fifth, sixth day... For 16 full days.

- I came on seventeenth day, already noticeably weak, and for the first time they are doing full blood analysis. I say: "Come on people, are you looking at the results, can't you see i am really anemic now, something is eating my blood charts". I show them that my iron in blood fell to 0.2, and the doctor said that "well, my mother is like this" - said the young man.

When the doctor said that he will get blood only when it reaches zero, his father, as he said, told them that "he will throw a bomb" at the hospital. They sent him home again.

Eighteenth day came. He was feeling much worse. His blood pressure was 280/160 and he was taken to hospital again. One cardiologist managed to reduce his blood pressure quickly. When they saw that the conditions are getting worse, he is send to the gastroenterology department.

- I was admitted by lovely people, they are taking my medical history and they say "next step is colonoscopy, we will know everything after that."

The day of colonoscopy arrived, and it was done under anesthesia. They notice at the end of the small intestine small thickening of 1.5 cm, they take the sample and they send it to histopathological analysis at our best pathohistologists, one of the best in the world. He notes that there is a tumor malignancy of 80 percent and that it was - lymphoma.

- The next day doctor said like this, i will quote: "You have cancer, you will piss and shit yourself, you will fall in bed, but don't despair". 

Even though the news about the cancer was given to him in the brutal way, he accepted it as a hero, he never shed a tear nor allowed anyone around him to do so.

They took him to the department of chemotherapy. He had no side effects, no nausea, no vomiting, which made things a lot easier for all. Later he started to lose his hair, which was a great shock to him, but most important to him was to get his health back.

After the second chemo his sickness withdrew quite a bit. After the forth they did analysis and they saw that chemotherapy is no longer helping. That is why they decided to operate on him and to remove one meter of his intestines.

The surgery went well, and the doctor said to his mother after: "It is incredible that we held each organ in our hand and chemotherapy did not manage to destroy any of them". 

After he left the hospital, he was on ineffective clinic for 21 days for diarrhea caused by antibiotics. After that he made full recovery.

- I can say i became a father of a beautiful girl and i am very happy now. I have 100 kilos of muscles and i am stronger than ever. Never give up. Love and cherish your health - said Aleksandar for the end.
