Amela Terzic has made it through to the final race in the 1500 meters at the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade, since she ran the track in 4 minutes and 10.35 seconds, which is a new national record.

Girl from Novi Pazar ran a fantastic last two laps, but in front of the finish line Laura Moore from Britain passed her, while only two hundredths of as second at the end, Amela was second ahead of German women Constance Klosterhafen.
- I am thrilled that I got into the finals. Running in the hall is much harder than in the open, since a small number of competitors are going into the finals. My rivals came to the European Championship with better result, but that does not mean that I will surrender - Amela said after the race.
Thus, after Lazara Anic Serbia got another member that will fight for a medal. Amela will fight for it in the final, which is scheduled for Saturday at 19:35.
