Greek Athlete wants to do something in Belgrade that every woman after the legendary Isinbayeva failed to do! (VIDEO)
Greek Athlete Ekaterini Stefanidi is getting ready to break yet another record in the pole vault that is held by inviolable Yelena Isinbayeva. Stefanidi will be one of the biggest names on competition in Belgrade since the Olympic champion from Rio, and the Amsterdam European champion. Now she has a chance for a hat trick.

Last year, she already broke another record of Isinbayeva at the European Championships in Amsterdam, but she believes that she will be able to bring down another one in Belgrade, and it is a 4.90 meters jump.
- Gold medal in this competition is important, even if i win it with a jump of 4.40 meters. But there is something that is constantly on my mind. Last year I crashed Isinbaveje record in outdoors competition, so the goal is to do it as well in the indoor competition - says Stefanidi.
She jumped 4.82 this year in New York and she reached second place of world list, and in the second place of European list. However, she jumped 4.63 in the rally in Birmingham two weeks ago.
- I'd be happy with a 4.82 meters jump, but I had a cold in Birmingham. I didn't manage to recover between jumps - says Greek.
After few weeks of travel and competition, she is now in top shape and at her peak for the European championship in Belgrade.
- I think i am ready to jump over 4.90. But we are still adjusting the form for Belgrade, but also for World championship in London.
