European Indoor Athletics Championships will take place from 3 to 5 of March, and Arena has never before looked like this.

- Arena looks as if a space ship has landed. We have completed a technologically a very demanding work. Everything was completed in one hundred days, we even finished ten days ahead of schedule - said the president of the Athletics Federation, Veselin Jevrosimovic.

When it comes to organization, Belgrade did even more that it was required by the norms of European Athletic Federation.

- Arena has a fantastic location, because all the hotels athletes and officials are located in are close, and they can literally walk to it. We did even more than it was asked from us, and that is why the people are amazed how professionally we completed our tasks - Jevrosimovic explained.

We have never seen some of the technical solutions in the arena.

- Athletic competitions are the most difficult for TV transmission. We have 52 cameras, six disciplines are transmitted at the same time. There will be things that were set up first, such as traffic lights that hang from the ceiling instead of being on the ground. We had to raise the entire Arena floor by 3.5 meters and we have made a real small town under it, where the athletes will make statements - explained the first man of Serbian athletics.

- Head coach Slobodan Popovic says that they are in great shape. As an Union, we enable them all the conditions to train without being disturbed, I hope they will give their best. This is the largest individual competition, with more than 800 accredited athletes, 2,500 people accompanying them, 600 journalists and there will be 1,000 people who conduct business every day in the Arena. I invite everyone to come to the Arena - said Veselin Jevrosimovic.
