The cold drove us all to the warm rooms, besides them, three divers who prepare to to dive under the ice of Ada Ciganlija and to create incredible night underwater photos.

She wears a red helmet with pink hearts and she has more than 35 years of diving experience. Diving under the water is reserved for more experienced divers, and she has abundance of experience.

- Now i feel phenomenal, 15 years ago it wasn't so much, because i had wet suit. When you know what awaits you, you can prepare yourself mentally, and then, cold water can't shock you that much. I remember not trusting the men in the hole, so i brought my own hammer and awl, hidden in the jacket. God forbid if i had lost them, i could not get out.

According to her, its impossible, because you can't break the ice under the lower side.

According to Janez Kranjc, Ivana's husband, in addition to standard suits, the diver needs an "ice" regulator,which can take the temperatures under 6 degrees below zero, and a good pair of gloves. But desire is also very important to go in the cold water. The temperature of air when they dived was -5 degrees and the water was "warmed" to 4 degrees. Thickness of the ice was 15 centimeters.

- You don't usually do this, but this is something entirely different, the project where we make photos - said Ivana.

- Because diving under ice is extreme and it should not be done during night. But we have deeper protection systems and good light, and we don't go to far from the hole. We don't allow ourselves to "play around". We have set everything to be safe.

- We wanted to enjoy, because we had all the light and flashes, that flash from above and penetrate the ice, and you get entirely new dimension, literally as if you are on entirely different planet - said Ivana Orlovic Kranjc.

It is rare that the water in the lake freezes, such as it has this year. The last time this happened was before 4, 5 years, when a solid ice cover formed.

- I feel like a shark every time. It's my favorite animal and try to stay down as long as possible. I should have been born in the water, not on dry land - says Ivana.

- It sounds exotic, since Serbia does not have sea, to be diving instructor and underwater photographer, but can live on that, if you are committed - said Janez.
