Milan Pesic Stamenkovic (41) from Zemun Polje has been living for 20 years with what he finds in a dumpster. He has indestructible spirit, always smiling, fisherman, trader, polyglot, father, grandfather, husband, painter, basement cleaner, public transportation user.

A man for example. Besides Serbian, he speaks three foreign languages: German, Italian and Romanian. He has two surnames, because he took his wife's last name. Why? Because he loves her very much.
- I have been getting supplies from dumpsters for 21 years, precisely how long i have been married. But its not like it used to be. Underground dumpsters are making my job harder. You could find all sorts of stuff before, and now nothing, there is no more work in the dumpster - complains Milan.
He usually takes the supplies to the market. Saturday on flea market on New Belgrade, and on Sunday on Zemun. He makes around 6.000 dinars per day on market. But he searches for 2 weeks for that kind of supplies.
- Sometimes there are fine goods in a dumpster, today i found a machine for cutting salami. There is plenty of wardrobe sometimes, tools, all of that can be sold. I never worked anywhere, only some room painting, i live out of this - he said.
Even though he doesn't make more than 12.000 dinars a month, he buys Bus plus tickets and he doesn't try to ride for free in public transportation.
- I won't ride for free, that is not interesting. The fine is 6.000 dinars, where can i find that kind of money, its not little - explains Milan.
