Tetovo, Tuzla and Skopje the most polluted cities in Europe
If we exclude Turkey, ten cities with the most polluted air in Europe are from Macedonia, one from Bosnia and Herzegovina and four from Poland.
The British newspaper "The Guardian" has published the data of the World Health Organization (WHO) and organized them by region. In Europe, with the exception of Turkey, the most polluted city is in Macedonia - Tetovo, followed by Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Macedonian capital of Skopje, while in the top ten were also Montenegrin Pljevlja and Macedonian city of Bitola, transmits RTS.
It is stated that billions of people are exposed to dangerous air around the world, but the level of pollution varies and that the most polluted cities are in Asia and Africa.
If we take Turkey in consideration in Europe, eight cities from that country would find their place in the list.
