Croatia on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina introduces new strict measures. This is what that means

He described the migrant crisis, and especially the smuggling of people and he stressed that it is a great job for Croatia to ensure the state border according to the European regulations.
Minister of Internal Affairs Orepic explained that it is possible that it will cause difficulties in traffic while crossing the borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina if the EU doesn't take in the account all the exceptions Croatia wants, and in that case they will do everything possible to make the transfer of goods and passengers as smooth as possible.
But, as it is found out, Minister Orepic on the first meeting with the representatives of government announced more strict controls of the borders, which will begin starting from this summer period, and the goal is to secure tourist season from possible threats.
This means, with mandatory identity checks, recording of all persons who cross the border, and stronger control of the vehicle.
In the previous years, just a slightly more thorough controls on the border on the both sides would create long traffic on border crossings, and the people living close to the crossing were most in danger, because their lives depend on good communication.
