One of them is the Jablanicko lake, artificial water accumulations on the river Neretva, writes Slobodna Dalmacija.
It stretches from Jablanica to Konjic in the north-east direction, and from Jablanica on the north-westerly direction to the southern parts of the municipality Prozor-Rama.
The dam, with a height of 80 meters, makes that this lake have a maximum length of about 30 km, an area of 1440 hectares and the volume is about 290 HML at maximum fulfillment. The maximum depth is 80 meters, and fluctuations of water level are up to 25 m.
Due to the weak rainfall and low water flow, these and all similar reservoirs are in the rapid decline of water level due to the production of electricity.
