Vucic: Defeat on the presidential elections would result in my departure

Serbian Prime Minister said today that defeat of the Serbian Progressive Party candidate on the presidential elections would mean his departure from the position of the head of the Government.

There is no doubt that the defeat on presidential election doesn't have to mean the leaving of all ministers or the change of the structure of political parties in the government, but it would certainly mean my departure - said Vucic, who is currently in the official visit to India.

Serbian Progressive Party, who's leader is Vucic, hasn't decided on their candidate yet. As Vucic announced himself, the decision will be brought around the beginning of February, after consulting the president of the state, Tomislav Nikolic.
