This beautiful girl is Vesna Aleksic and she is the first female captain of Air Serbia in history!
Vesna Aleksic became the first woman on captain position in the history of Serbian national air-company.
Thirty-six year old pilot joined the air-company on the captain position on the single-aisle planes Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.
Aleksic is married and has one child, and she will do her first flight as the captain of Air Serbia on the flight JU826, on Tuesday 27 December, from Belgrade to Beirut.
She, as was reported, started her flying career in 1999. in Flying Academy in Vrsac, where she got the experience on the single engine plane Cesna 172, before she moved on to turbo twin-engine Cessna 310 and Piper PA-34 Seneca.
Since she graduated from the Academy, Aleksic went to Montenegro Airlines, where she worked as a copilot in the plane Foker 100, since 2007 until 2012.
She became a copilot of the plane Airbus A320 on Wizz Air fleet in 2012, before she advanced to captain position in 2014. At the time she lived in Skopje, capital of Macedonia.
During her career, Aleksic recorded over 5.000 flight hours, with more than 2.200 hours solo on single-aisle Airbus aircraft.
