VUCIC: We will renew all four clinical centers in Serbia
Prime minister Aleksandar Vucic said that he will raise the level of equipment for all four clinical centers in Serbia, saying that in Nis only, there have been investments of 50 million euros.
According to him, 29 million euros will be invested in Kragujevac Clinical Center, 35 million in Novi Sad, and around 90 million for clinical center in Belgrade.
- We invested 50 million euros in Nis, that is the best clinical center on Balkans, it has 613 beds, we have MRI there, two apparatus for radiation... It looks luxurious, patients move window blinds with the push of a button, and you will agree, it is a rarely found luxury in Serbia, also it is rare in the west - said Vucic speaking about the investments in health.
He added that Clinical Center in Nis will hire 50 nurses and 25 of their replacements in the next few days.
- What was done for 40 years, now it is ending. It is the greatest investment in health since Military Medical Academy in the former Yugoslavia, it will be open at the end of March or start of April in 2017. In four, five months we will have the opportunity to open it in our Nis - said Prime Minister.
As he said, all four clinical centers will raised to the highest level in equipment.
- We created serious fund for child treatment and look how many children we managed to cure, how much we help so they can be treated with innovative and with the most expensive medicines. The citizens of Serbia provided that, and we managed to leave enough room with smart use of money to put the funds to the most humane cause - said Vucic.
