Serbia will have GENERAL ELECTIONS on 9th April
It seems that the citizens of Serbia will chose the president of the country in six months, as it is speculated in the public for some time, but 9th April 2017 could be the date to hold the general elections!
Judging by the descriptions of the Belgrade media, this is the date that the Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic flagged for holding parliamentary, local and presidential elections in the country.
Namely, papers Alo, Blic and Informer published on front pages the exact date of holding the general elections, while Kurir is agreeable with information that the people won't only chose the president of the state.
Let us recall, so far the candidacy was confined by incumbent President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Minister of foreign affairs Ivica Dacic, Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic, President of CIRSD Vuk Jeremic, and as the opposition candidate from Dveri Bosko Obradovic.
