People from Uzice pillaged Hamburg, it is suspected that they are part of "Pink Panther": They risk 15 years in prison for robbing a jewelry store!
People from Uzice Milos M (40) and Sasa Z (36), who were arrested because of the robbery of the jewelry store in Germany, will be trialed in front of the higher court in Uzice, where they are currently detained.
Milos M. and Sasa Z. came to police hands because of the last year's warrant from Germany that charges them for robbing a store in Hamburg armed with masks and wigs, and stealing 41 expensive watch whose total value is estimated on close to million euros. Those were wrist watches of brands "Longines", "package filip" and "Bridget".
Although there is no official confirmation "in the purpose of investigation, people from Uzice ran away after the robbery and there is no knowledge if they were a part of the "Pink Panther" group known for spectacular robberies across the Europe.
- Through the German embassy, the state prosecutor in Hamburg, according to the law on the right Assistance in Criminal Matters, requested for the Serbian judiciary to take over the prosecution of two arrested for offenses which is, according to our law of the crime of robbery with the use of weapons, punishable by three to 15 years in prison - told for the "Blic" High Prosecutor's Office in Uzice.
