Zagreb "Nacional" writes today that it is unknown what happened to recent Turkish ambassador Ahmet Tuti and his wife Mina Tuti.

As reported by the portal Index, the article states that this is a brutal reprisals of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after the collapse of the coup in July. 

Information of the "Nacional" was confirmed by two independent diplomatic sources. One source said that Erdogan's people took Turkish diplomats in black bags in secrecy from Croatia into unknown. 

Bekir Alpula was on the strongest impact in Croatia, the recent Turkish attache for Culture in Zagreb. It was asked from the Croatian government to take his diplomatic IDs and to be deported to Turkey, and he desperately asked from foreign diplomats in Zagreb for their help. After the failed coup in Turkey, most of the countries with which Turkey has diplomatic relations lists with the names of Turkish diplomats by Erdogan were sent who were declared supporters of Imam Fetulaha Gulen and the coup supporters. It was asked for all people on the list to be deported back to Turkey and their hospitality in the countries canceled.
