Nikolic: I was right about the red line in negotiations
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said that the government will have his unconditional support if the last "requirements" in Pristina rejected as nonsense and that he was right when he assessed that "we are very close to the red lines in the negotiations," which must not be crossed if respect the country and the Constitution.
Serbia made the greatest progress in the Doing Business list!
Nikolic for today's edition of Novosti newspapers said that the temporary institutions in Pristina incorrectly assessed that the time has come to set the conditions without which the negotiations can go no further.
- Well, the European Union itself refrains from setting conditions whose acceptance would mean the acceptance of independence of the southern Serbian province - said Nikolic on daily Novosti.
The head of state believes that he was right when he assessed that "we are very close to the red lines in the negotiations, that we should not cross if we respect your country and in particular the Constitution."
- Albanians use negotiations to get more rights through Serbia, and if that doesn't go well, they bilaterally ask for membership outside of negotiations in organizations which should be organizations of the states. This is not a basis for a sincere negotiation, which on their part there was none so far - said Nikolic.
The newspaper reminds that Nikolic once proposed that principle of "nothing is agreed until everything is agreed" is introduced into dialogue.
