Boy (5) ate an egg imported from THIS COUNTRY, and then he DIED
After the death of five-year boy Mirko Vidovic, Croatian retail chain pulled the eggs from sale from their shops that are suspected of being infected with salmonella. Apparently, controversial eggs have been recently imported from Poland.
Immediately after the analysis of food from the refrigerator the family of a late child proved to have been infected with salmonella, reporters of 'Jutarnji list' visited the retailer where they purchased the disputed eggs. Croatian law, unfortunately does not allow for the name of the shop chain to be published, until the official institutions decide it is the time for that.
Vidovic family has bought the eggs two days before the tragedy in Sombor. On Sunday, reporters of "Jurtanji" spotted the saleswoman putting new eggs on the shelf. The contaminated eggs were not found among them, which were imported by Croatian imported from Poland. On the question if they had the eggs, the saleswoman answered negatively, and she said that she is not aware if they had the mentioned eggs before.
Let us remind you, Croatian city Bregana was struck with family misfortune, when five year old boy Mirko Vidovic died from salmonella poisoning, while his sisters are in critical condition.
