In the eight decade of his life he is still paragliding, he goes deep into the earth, and when he is home, he is resting in his comfy chair, surfing the social networks. He is the bravest retired man in Macedonia, who has no fear going into adventures in extreme sports.

Once mechanical engineer, now pensioner from Prilep, Mile Grdanovski is not feeling his 78 years. Childlike curiosity and a young spirit keep pushing him into new endeavors, especially love for paragliding and cave researching, because he loves speleology.
- I had my first flight two years before the world championship in paragliding in Krusevo. I flew with a pilot Igor from Skopje with paragliding tandem from Meckin Kamen and 1.400 meters above sea level. I did not feel fear. Thermal pillar was very strong, and we rose to 2.500 meters. Part of the flight i was a copilot, and then i took the helm and i steered. I filmed the flight with camera - said Mile Grdanovski his first experience for Telegraf.mk.
Before he started flying, he studied paragliding over the internet, because it is not just sport, it is a science as much as his own profession - thermodynamic and meteorology.
- I asked whats that power, what that urge in life that makes people take risks with this sports. I lived passion, true dream of a man becoming a bird, feeling freedom, wideness and whirlwind that makes your adrenaline rush. In the whirlpool of pleasures i watched the panorama of Krusevo and the valley. Farewell to the clouds will not be my last one. I made a second contact with the sky, to be Icarus again, to feel like a bird, to fly sky high - said Grdanovski.
Unlike many retirees his age, he is literally "hooked" on the social network. He has his own profile on Facebook and a channel on YouTube, and when connected, he spends his retirement days in nature.
He is in love with pure air and movement. He often hikes and visits Macedonian forests. He loves discovering mysteries and cave decors. In his youth he founded speleological section in the hiking association "Zlatovrv".
- I climbed down many caves and mountain pits in former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. I don't fear the sky nor the guts of the earth. While my legs hold me ill be in the embrace of nature - he said.
