The greatest achievement in the construction is the rising of the central part of the dome, weighting 4.000 tons.
Together with a covering of sheet copper and large golden cross 12 meters tall and 4 tons heavy, it was lifted and placed on the walls.
The lifting, that took 40 days, was completed in 26. Jun 1989.
