Doctor was convicted for such a small penalty because Velkovska agreed on consensual compensation of 30,000 euros not to drag through the courts and then relive everything that she already experienced, and therefore she needed the money for another complex operation that should be performed in Serbia.

She has not received the money yet and she is preparing another lawsuit. Novatv got in contact with the director of the "8th September" hospital, Sasa Stojcic who said that hospital is not running away from responsibility, but they can not pay the compensation because the sum of money has not been listed in the court verdict.

- The sum of 30,000 euros, which was mutually agreed upon, is not fully covered by the insurance company, they can pay 20,000 euros, and the remaining 10,000 euros that we do not have to pay out because there is no document to cover it, said Stojcev.
