EARTHQUAKE PREDICTIONS REVEAL AMAZING FACT: Every year Montenegro moves toward Italy by 7 millimeters!
Practically the only earthquake to date scientists were able to forecast was so-called Haicheng earthquake in China that took place on February 4, 1975 in the province of Liaoning.
The earthquake forecast was done based on the measuring of the increased amounts of radon on the surface of the earth, reports kolektiv.me.
- 400.000 human lives were saved, thanks to the successful forecast of the Chinese experts - said for Pobjeda mechanical engineer and inventor from Kolasin Zoran Ilincic.
Earthquake was predicted in the Liaoning province, but the next year 1976, in the neighboring province Tangashan, earthquake struck that they could not forecast and it took thousands of lives. Earthquake is a complex geological phenomena.
Those are, pointed by Ilincic, change the speed of seismic waves in the surface of the Earth's crust, slight elevation or lowering of the floor in future epicenter area, the release of radon from the ground and water, reducing the electrical resistance of the soil, the occurrence of "swarms" of smaller and bigger earthquakes, sudden changes of underwater levels. However, the primary reason for their inability to scientifically forecast earthquakes, according to ilincic, is incorrect theory about the origin of earthquakes.
- My theory about the genesis of earthquakes involves a significant transfer of mass inside the Earth over a period of several years, especially a few months before the earthquake. As a result it leads to the conclusion that the most important elements for short-term forecasting of earthquakes are seismic waves and their change of speed and change of vertical displacement of soil and measuring the fluctuations of the gravitational field - he says.
Zoran Ilincic in his explanation of possibility to forecast earthquakes said that the first step is to determine the location of future earthquake.
- The first phase would consist in measuring horizontal and vertical ground movements in the zone where there is a seismic risk. This process is quite simple and can be carried out using a GPS (Global position system). One such device exists in Montenegro and it is used in base stations to measure seismic displacement of soil, or tectonic plates of our country. It is measured with it that tectonic plate on which Montenegro lies moves to Italy every year by 7 millimeters. After measuring horizontal and vertical displacement, it would proceed to the second stage where using the artificially caused seismic waves, analysis would be carried out under the shifting weight of the solid Earth's crust, similar to the process of finding mineral wealth. Based on analysis of these events, it would be possible to predict an earthquake - within one day, concluded Ilincic.
