Ivana Spanovic gave an interview to the reporter from Zagreb that will excite both Serbs and Croats!

- I do not know why shouldn't we be good friends. The fact that she is Croat, and i am Serbian has no meaning at all. After all, our coaches are also hanged out in the former Yugoslavia, and I do not see why this would be a problem as we continued our friendship.

- I'm also a very good friends and with Blanka Vlasic. Look, we all hang out on the big athletic competitions, rallies of the Diamond League, where there is even more space and free time so we occasionally drink coffee - said Ivana Spanovic.

The best Serbian athlete says that Sandra Perkovic is one of the role models and wants to achieve results like that and to win world and Olympic gold.

- Who from the athletes wouldn't want to have success like Sandra had. I want to be good as she is. And to be better i have to win world and Olympic titles. Last year i was close in Beijing to win the world, and this year in Rio the Olympic title. But i wasn't so lucky - said best Serbian athlete.

Ivana cheered for both Croatian golden athletes, and she pointed out that she first got their support.

- I know they cheered for me too - concluded Ivana Spanovic.
