DRUG LORD FELL IN THE POLICE HANDS: 150 kilos of marijuana confiscated

Ameta S. (38) from Skopje, is well known to the Macedonian police as an organizer of smuggling large quantities of heroin and marijuana, was finally reeled in. Inspectors have stopped him last night on the local road Basino Village - Veles, and during the inspection of the car , "Volkswagen Vento" with Kumanovo license plates, police in the trunk found two large suitcases and three jute bags.

Bags were packed with marijuana, scale showed that they held 150 kilos of marijuana, probably purchased in Albania. 

Drugs should have been transported to Turkey. Amet S. found a man who would smuggle it to Turkey for money.

The deal was to meet at the entrance of Vales at 19 h. Inspectors found out about that so Amet had to give up the drugs to the police instead of the smuggler and, as a "token of appreciation", they put cuffs on his hands.
