FROM THURSDAY TO GREECE ONLY BY BUS: Train line from Belgrade to Thessaloniki is shutting down!

Passengers from Serbia who intend to travel by train to Greece to be able to do so until 3 September, because on the following day, September 4, the international train line "Hellas express" will be halted that runs on line Thessaloniki - Skopje - Belgrade and vice versa, has been notified from the Macedonian Railways.

Due to the repairs of the railway from Nis to Presevo, the interruption of rail passenger transport will last the by end of this year, a re-establishment of regular lines on this route will be jointly concluded by  "Macedonian Railways - Transport", "Serbia train" and "Treinos" - Greek railways.

Passengers from Macedonia are not concerned about the interruption of railway traffic towards Serbia and Greece, and this is confirmed by the statistics, which says that in the second trimester of this year no passenger from Macedonia has traveled on the international line.
