African viper belonging to the family Viperidae or adder, hinges, rattlesnakes, moccasins also belong to this family of snakes...
It is a snake whose venom kill about 20,000 people in Africa each year. In their nodes there is enough amount of toxin sufficient to kill the five adult men.
It inhabits almost all areas in Africa, and it is at the top of the list when it comes to how fast it can bite.
