AMERICANS BRINGING 20 NUCLEAR BOMBS ON THE BORDER WITH SERBIA: Transferring weapons from Turkey, Romania denies
United States of America started transferring nuclear weapons from Turkey to Romania, in the middle of the worsening of relationship between Washington and Ankara, confirmed by the two independent sources for Brussels's portal EurActiv.com. According to one of the sources, the transfer is very problematic both in technical and in political sense.

- It is not easy to transfer twenty or so nuclear bombs - said the source who wanted to remain anonymous.
According to the reports of the last Simson center, since the end of cold war, around 50 American tactical nuclear bombs are stationed in Turkish base Indzirlik, hundred kilometers from the Syrian border.
After the recent coup in Turkey, the power has been cut in Indzirlik, and the Turkish government forbade American planes to take off and to land in the base. At the end, the base command was arrested for participation in the coup.
It is unknown if the States could keep control over the weapons in the case of long term civil war in Turkey, written in report.
The second source said for EurActiv.com that after the coup attempt, the American-Turkish relationship worsen to that level that Washington does not believe Turkey can hold the armament.
American weapons are being transferred to the air force base Deveselu in Romania, adds the source.
The Deveselu base, not far from the city Karakal, is also the new home of American rocket shield which angered Russia, and the stationing of the tactical American nuclear weapons near the Russian border will make Moscow even more furious.
EurActiv.com sent the query to Foreign Ministry of Turkey and Romania to comment and they promised an answer, as well as American State Department, which announced to have forwarded the question to the Ministry of defense.
NATO sent diplomatically composed comment to EurActiv which implies that allies have to secure "safety" of the American nuclear weapons positioned across Europe. On the other hand, Foreign Ministry of Romania strongly denied the information that Romania has became a base for American nuclear weapons.
- As the answer to your request, Romanian Foreign Ministry strongly demands the information you have mentioned - expressed in the written statement from the Ministry spokesman.
