The beast was spotted by the fisherman Alesandro Krali (44) while he was swimming in the sea. Later on, close encounter with the shark was made by be Esposito spouses.

- It was 13 PM when we saw something moving at the sea surface. The wife and i were sunbathing at the moment, thank God. First we saw a black silhouette very close to the surface, and then the fin diving out and the back of the sea dog. It dived out around 20 meters from the beach, and as far as we could see, it was at least one and a half, two meters - told the  spouses Ezio di Francesco and Nela Esposito, who are on their vacation in Trieste.

The lifeguards have warned the swimmers with red highly raised flag and shouts to get out of the sea immediately.

All emergency services have been informed, from the Port Authority to Coast Guard, and they started searching for the animal.
