The man around 40 years old, first posing as a beggar, attacked a woman from Leskovac Olivera Markovic, in the middle of the city, in front of the department store, and threatened to kill her after what, the police had to step in.

This woman was walking out of the supermarket with her daughter around 16:00 PM yesterday when he cut in front of them and asked for 3 dinars, when she said no, as she said, he attacked them with a crutch, cursed at them and threatened to kill them, reported jugmedia.rs.

- Just to say from the start his face unknown to me, i have never seen him in the city before, he is around 40, black beard, white ironed shirt, backpack with two blankets and he carries two crutches. When he heard that i called the police, he started running. I tried taking a photo but he was hiding behind cars running away from me, he turned to "San Marco" and disappeared - said Markovic.

Police arrived right away after her call and is searching for the unknown man. 

- I was told not to chase off those kind of people next time because there is safety risk for me. Anyone who knows me well can say that i am not easily frighted - adds Olivera.
