Six reasons this photo from Malta will enter FC Red Star history (PHOTO)
For the first time in history Red Star started their season with so much foreigners that are currently in the team. The photo of the starting 11 against Valletta will enter history, because it has never happened before for the team of red and whites to have more foreigners among starting 11 than players from Serbia.
They split up into two rows, three in each. Two Frenchmen, one Dutchman, Argentinian, Portuguese and Gabonian.
Vieira, Kanga and Ibanez were in lower row, and behind them were Donald, Le Talek and Fibel.
There could be more foreigners from the start if Pablo Muche and John Ruiz started playing, but they went in in the second half. However, there was a moment when seven of them were on the pitch, when during the second half Pablo Muche replaced Slavoljub Srnic.
Red Star will have it easier because the rule was adopted about increasing the number of foreign players that can play in Superleague of Serbia.
