Croatia is currently facing a great problem, and that is high unemployment and young that search for job outside the country in the Union, and not at the coast of Adriatic sea. There are open positions, but they just want to work in the different state.

MONTENEGRO SEARCHES FOR 14.000 WORKERS: Wages are up to 1.500 EUROS, but that's not all!

When Croatia entered the EU, all citizens had greater offer that was all over the market across the European Union. However, the basic reason Croats run away from working at the Adriatic is exploitation.

They work 7 days a week, 16 hours shifts a day, for 540 euros wages.

Bad conditions are bothering every worker, however, they do not talk about it, because if the say anything they will be usually fired. There is no control, there is no workers union, employers do not respect the law and they exploit the seasonal workers.

By the rule, only some have some kind of accommodation, while all the rest is below the basic levels. Most of the seasonal workers have to pay for the accommodation and the food to the employer - said Eduard Andric, the president of the Union of services and tourism of Croatia.
