GRANDMA MARIJA, WHO INHERITED MILLION DOLLARS, DIED: She lived in a mud house with 65 euros pension! (VIDEO)

Grandma Marija Zlatic (86) from the village Valakonje at Boljevac, inherited million Australian dollars after her husband died. She passed away in total misery in dilapidated house made out of mud. People who took care of her, with whom she had a lifetime support contract, found her body on the bed, reports Novosti.

Heirs of her wealth were mad when she shared her life story with the media.

- Where i am going, i don't need the money, so i gave it away. I gave the money to the people who are taking care of me. They need it more than i do, i don't even know how much is that. I am good with my 8.000 dinars (around 65 euros), that's how much i get from my farmer's pension - said at the beginning of the year Marija Zlatic, millionaire.

The problems started when, after four years of correspondence with Australian government, she received a contract that she inherited 940.000 Australian dollars from her husband.

- After she got the money, lots of inheritors appears, who said that they have the last will of her husband Momcilo - said the neighbors.

People who signed the contract with her about the lifetime support have used the most of the money in the meantime. The only one that did not care about the money was grandma Marija.

- I remember like it was yesterday. The year was 1956 when Momcilo and I bought a one way ticket to Australia. My husband was a carpenter in a factory, and i took care of the household. After a year i came back to Serbia because my mother was sick. My husband wrote to me saying he wants to come back to Serbia when he earns his retirement - said Marija.

However, he did not return to Serbia. He died five years ago, and Marija asked his neighbor if she could find out anything about his death in far away Australia. In September last year, the Australian government informed her that she inherited his property.

- I received the money few months ago and i shared it all. I don't need it - concluded Marija Zlatic, who was buried yesterday in Boljevac.
