In Wimbledon camp with tennis fanatics: You can find anything in there (PHOTO)

There is a saying in Wimbledon that whoever hasn't been in the line for tickets, he did not feel the real spirit of this unique sport manifestation. Of course, its not just "any line" (even thou numerous lines from London are infamous around the world, like the line at "Victoria and Albert" museum on Sunday), its a line of completely thought accompanying programs of Wimbledon, which almost always has a "happy ending" for its novices.

The passage through already legendary gate will lead you into meander of different pleasures, will candidate you for the bunch of awards and awards alike with which you will decorate your rearview mirror, kitchen, child room, dog house... Considering that the advertising of this grandiose tournament forbidden (with the exception of the ball maker), sponsors and partners are using "Wimbledon ticket line" to stage chorus of promotion programs and contents. You will ride, drink, guess - and also play tennis on the improvised court - and you will still have you place in the line, guaranteed.

For those who make Wimbledon trip a part of their year "bivouac",  where they merge staying in nature with the protocol of waiting for tickets - all sorts of pleasures are offered that Wimbledon camp is offering for years.

Everything that has any connection to Wimbledon is always in the line, and so the tents are set by numbers that are registered and waiting in the line at the ticket office - for which there are special protocol compared to the "walkers" in the mentioned line.

Little field on which tents, with lines for delivering, passing and non camper activities does not have so hard soil, nor the grass is by the book, but that did not discourage Craig and John (from New Zealand) to have a game of "camp tennis" over the rope in the field of play.

They have already taken the roles and names of their favorite tennis players - even thou Querrey was not so interesting after his giant win against Novak Djokovic. Craig doesn't have a bad forehand, if we take in consideration that the ball is jumping in arbitrary path, but anyone who manages to hit the ball inside the "field" - usually wins the point.

- Call Novak to play a match with is - said John when he heard we are from Serbia. "You bet i will!"

- Braggarts, they are like children - said the supervisors, and they give us information about the camp.

- We currently have 800 filled positions, which is always standardized with the number of free ticket that will be available for sale for this part of the spectators until the end of quarterfinals. Tickets for semifinals won't be available , but the good this is the percentage of the conversion of the tickets almost 100% every year. Basically, we tent to limit the camp to 1000 spaces, because of the available tickets - and the order, hygiene, supplies - we were told the concept of set up and leading the camp by the kind supervisor.

Few steps aside, we arrive to the true tennis net for the Children's tennis development format 10, around which Pet and Mike carefully draw the lines with duck tape, which is applied with some wonder to the grass.

- The longest line is around  eight steps, and base line around 3 - said Mike, while he precisely measured the court form the earlier game.

- Even thought this is a child's ground, we all play here - and it is especially popular among those who can not run very much - said Pat, winking towards Mike, obviously supporter of "short points" and service.

Proud of right angles that they made with duck tape, these two enthusiasts are on their way for the first prize of the day - beer mug and a shower costing 5 pounds in the local rowing club.

And that's the way the camper days go by of this group of dedicated enthusiasts, a step away from the gates "All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club" and their idols, of all generations. Some hope to have that rare luck to see some actual best players in the worlds in their way to the dressing room. 

To some the main goal is to see once more the participants of the veteran matches and old tennis aces as they remember them - Ivanisevic's guided aces, Enkwin's volleys, Fereira's ripping backhands, Cash's "racing" head band, Filipusis' brave net play...

- Tennis is pure enjoyment - said timeless Fred, while he walks us out of the camping zone, noting that he would love to visit Serbia one day.

- I see you in Serbia, Fred Perry - saying goodbye in the spirit of our humor, fascinated that we even in a joke, reminded him of one of the best home players of all times.

And yes - the sun has finally shined over Wimbledon, on the forth "people's week" in history  in which "white sport" will be played on all courts of this tennis celebration. Let it be a nice sigh for all of those who will celebrate knight competition of the masters of racket from all over of the word in the next seven days, in this magical ambient of timeless values.
