They offer 10.000 EURO for the entire house and household in this place, but no one wants to buy it!

In the villages across Republika Srpska there are on sale thousands of empty houses with households at very affordable prices, but with all that there are no buyers. Family homes followed with entire households and great yards, with electricity additions and water addictions can be bought for only 20.000 KM (around 10.000 euro).

In the "Siti" real estate agency from Gradiska say that they have tens for village households that no one wants, no one even calls to ask for the price or the conditions of selling.

- For 25.000 to 30.000 KM one could buy nice village household with land and a house in a very good condition, with water and electricity. We have newer houses with large number of plantations that reach up to 80.000 KM, but those houses are, unfortunately, not selling - said Slobodan Benciz from the agency. He adds that, the selling of apartments of 35 to 50 square meters, on the other hand, is going very well.

- I had some cases that family of four would rather squeeze in 40 squares in the city than buy for the same money, or less, a beautiful house with 100 square meters with a yard - said Bencuz.

Zoran Pavlovic economist says that the greatest problem in Republika Srpska and in Bosnia and Herzegovina that there is no program for revitalization of villages even tho there are more unemployed families in the cities. 

- To that kind of families the state should provide support to go to the village and start some own economy where they would produce fruits, vegetables or raise cattle for themselves but also for the market - Pavlovic said.

The advantages and flaws of the Gradiska citizen Branislav Mrzic, who bought the apartment at the beginning of the year, said that he has been living in the village for his whole life, but in a few months he has been living in the city, he has seen all the benefits city can offer.

- There is only boredom in the village because there are no more people as before, nothing is available. During the winter, when the snow falls, no one cleans the roads, and in summer the wells are dried up so there is no water, in the spring and autumn there is mud on every corner. The vicinity of doctors, shops, movies i don't even have to talk about, and in the city, everything is right under your nose - said Mrzic.
