Karahmet was convicted for organized crime, more precisely for stealing of motorized vehicles. He is convicted to 9 years in prison, writes Star magazine in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- I was sentenced for stealing 50 cars in a year and a half. We got from a thousand to two and a half thousands euro per car. We stole all around Bosnia and Herzegovina, mostly Volkswagen cars. We made profit with it and it was our downfall - adds Karamet. Some vehicles ended up on a junk yard, to some others documents were forged and cars were taken over the borders.

Car thieves went in the hunt in small teams, in vehicles that weren't regular, then they traveled from town to town, village to village, and search for the pray. They were stealing only by night.

- We had special tools, decoders smaller than a pack of cigarettes. We open a lock physically, enter a car, break through the ignition lock, and then we make contact with a screwdriver. In service-check we turn on the decoder that nullifies the existing codes and we enter the one that enables us to start the car. After that we give contact with a screwdriver and that's it - explains Karahmet, who is a mechanic.

- With some extra protection mechanism i had to lift the hood up, unplug the commands, put it in third gear and drive. I am actually a mechanic. All kinds of switches and obstacles can slow you down, but basically, there is no absolute protection. It can all be neutralized... - finishes Karahmet.
