After his father the king Aleksandar I Karadjordjevic was killed on 9th October in assassination in Marseilles, for new king was pronounced his underage son Petar II.
Because he was too young, the royal duties were done for him by three member governorship - prince Pavle, Dr Radenko Stankovic and Dr Ivo Perovic.
